Questions

The answers we give every prospective instructor.

Tuition is $2,300. You can pay in full or through a four-month payment plan. An optional Mentorship Track is available for an additional $350, which includes one-on-one guidance, support with routine writing and teaching development, and five opportunities to run full routines in the studio.
The certification is two full in-studio days (eight hours each, with breaks) followed by a required Zoom follow-up call after the in-person weekend. Total active training time is approximately sixteen in-studio hours plus the follow-up.
You'll learn the foundations of the Lagree method, how to write and sequence routines, and how to confidently lead a safe and effective class. Every exercise is broken down in detail — form, alignment, and recommended spring loads — and you'll have dedicated practice time to teach on your own and with the group.
No — it's optional. The $350 Mentorship Track is for students who want deeper one-on-one guidance, routine-writing support, and five full routine run-throughs in the studio for hands-on experience. Most students thrive without it; some want the extra reps.
There are no formal prerequisites. We strongly recommend taking at least twenty Lagree classes before the training so the method feels familiar in your body. If you've never taken a Lagree class, reach out and we'll help you plan a path.
Yes. This is an Official Lagree Fitness Inc. partner certification, recognized at over 600 licensed Lagree studios worldwide. Hiring decisions are made by individual studios, but your credential is universally accepted.
Yes — tuition can be split across four monthly payments of $575. Full payment-plan details are shared once you inquire.
The required Zoom call consolidates what you learned in the studio. We revisit the method, troubleshoot coaching questions that come up once you start teaching on your own, and finalize your certification path.
This is Level 1 — the foundational instructor certification and the entry point for teaching Lagree classes. Level 2 is an advanced credential for instructors deepening their technical mastery, teaching advanced formats, and pursuing Master Trainer status.
For most people, yes. Lagree instructors earn $25–$60 per class in major markets, and teaching eight to twelve classes a week typically returns tuition in two to four months. Beyond income, the credential opens doors to private training, studio ownership, and career coaching.
Yes. The program includes dedicated solo practice teaching and group teach-backs so you integrate the method by doing, not just observing. Students who add the Mentorship Track get five additional full-routine run-throughs for deeper reps.
Grip socks, workout attire you can move and teach in, a refillable water bottle, a notebook and pen, and a laptop or tablet if you prefer digital notes. We provide the training manual, a Megaformer for every student, and snacks and coffee throughout both days.
